Cases heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:

Alec Linden Bleasdale, 29, of Oswald Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to possessing diamorphine. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.

Mariusz Stefan Partyka, 32, of James Avenue, Great Harwood, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigation. He was given an 18-week jail sentence, suspended for 24 months, with 200 hours’ unpaid work, fined £400, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 36 months, reduced by 30 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

Lee Roscoe, 42, of St Charles Road, Rishton, pleaded guilty to threatening to burn down a woman’s house. He was given a 12-month community order with a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £20 and ordered to pay £85 costs.

Jack Delaney, 22, of Blackburn Road, Rising Bridge, pleaded guilty to five counts of assault by beating and two counts of criminal damage and while subject to a conditional discharge order. He was jailed for 24 weeks and given a three-year restraining order.

Killian Thomas Harry Haslam, 26, of Willows Lane, Accrington, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching a non-molestation order and one count of assault by beating. He was given a six-month conditional discharge.

John Donlon, 60, of Canal Street, Church, pleaded guilty to owning a dog which was dangerously out of control and injured a male. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £250 compensation.

Ben Lewis, 29, of Minster Close, Winsford, pleaded guilty to taking a car in Great Harwood without lawful authority and causing an accident, using a car without insurance and driving without a licence. He was given a 16-week community order with a curfew requirement, ordered to pay £250 compensation and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Charley Connell, 20, of St Edmund Street, Great Harwood, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and must pay £120.

Saara Currie, 26, of Thirlmere Close, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Frank Grundy, 60, of St Hubert’s Road, Great Harwood, was found guilty in his absence of using a television without a licence. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Charles Lavery, 42, of Woodside Road, Accrington, was found guilty in his absence of using a television without a licence. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Tony Murray, 47, of Spring Street, Rishton, was found guilty in his absence of using a television without a licence. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Leah Parr, 23, of School Street, Rishton, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Daniel Rawstron, 23, of Shuttleworth Street, Rishton, was found guilty in his absence of using a television without a licence. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Mark Rothwell, 25, of Grimshaw Street, Church, was found guilty in his absence of using a television without a licence. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Mark Ryder, 28, of Norfolk Grove, Church, was found guilty in his absence of using a television without a licence. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Kayleigh Sledden, 30, of York Street, Church, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £120.

Kirk Whittam, 37, of Barnes Street, Clayton-le-Moors, was found guilty in his absence of using a television without a licence. He was fined £60 and ordered to pay £120.

Mudasser Iqbal, 29, of Kingston Avenue, Accrington, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 costs.

Martin James Noke, 28, of Lion Street, Church, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating and one count of criminal damage. He was given a 25-week jail sentence, suspended for two years, with a supervision requirement, 45-day programme requirement, ordered to pay £200 compensation, £85 costs and given an indefinite restraining order.

David Mott, 36, of Lower Gate Road, Huncoat, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a 12-month community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement, a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, a two-year restraining order, fined £100 and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £40 costs.
