An investigation has been launched after a caravan fire in Accrington.

Two fire engines from Hyndburn were called to Countess Street at 6.30pm on Friday, January 12, to reports of a caravan fire outside a house.

It is not known what the caravan was being used for.

A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.

“The cause is under investigation and no injuries were reported.”
