For Zoe Bracewell there is only one number that truly matters. Born on 10.10.1978 at 10.10pm Zoe last week married the man of her dreams on the 10.10.2010 – the day of her 32nd birthday.

After waiting four years for her special day to fall in line with her lucky digit Zoe said: "Not many people can say they were born on 10/10 at 10.10pm. My dad used to call me 'ten ten' when I was little. I just think it is fate and a lucky thing. When we were planning the wedding I checked it and I was so happy it landed on the weekend. It was meant to be I think.

"It depended on whether I was with the right person at the time which luckily I was."

Former Haslignden High School Zoe, now Zoe Hindle after marrying husband Shane last Sunday at St Mary's Church, Haslingden Old Road, Rawtenstall. is a mum-of-one who was born in Rawtenstall but now lives on Aitken Street in Accrington.

Her mum and dad, part-time carer Lorraine Bracewell, 63, and David Bracewell, 66, of Haslingden Old Road, Rawtenstall, said their daughter had waited years for the right marital moment.

Lorraine said: "She has waited a long time for this. She has waited about four years for it to fall in line. We tried to arrange for the wedding to be held at 10.10pm but we settled for 2pm.

"She has always considered ten to be her lucky number. She's always said, if it was possible, she would do it and she has done it. I hope they stay happy together now."

Zoe, who today jets off to Sorrento, Italy, on honeymoon, said: "All my friends and family really understand my link to number 10. I have done it now but just missed the 10 o'clock service on the day of the wedding. I haven't got any other 10 landmarks thinking about it at the moment. I think that's it now I'm married," she added.
