The anxious wait is finally over for hundreds of teenagers who will find out their A-level results this morning.
Pupils at schools and colleges across Accrington will be making their way in to open those all-important envelopes and learn whether they have made the grade.
For many, today’s outcome will determine whether they will be accepted into their chosen university or face a scramble for places through clearing instead.
