A dad has been given a caution for being too drunk to care for his five-year-old daughter.
Police said the 33-year-old had been at a party in Accrington but he was reported as too drunk to stand as he made his way home.
Paramedics were called to Burnley Road at around 10.30pm on Saturday, February 9.
Police arrested the man for being drunk and disorderly after he became aggressive and abusive towards ambulance staff.
Police said the man was later released from custody after receiving a police caution for being drunk in charge of a child under the age of seven.
He also received a penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
