Accrington's first ever lap dancing club is set to open. The iCandy lap dancing bar will open its doors to the public from 7.30pm on Friday, July 13.
Manageress Kate Hartley said 24 jobs will be created by the project and said that she was really excited that it was finally about to begin trading.
She said: "I can’t wait it has been six months in planning. My phone has been ringing constantly since asking when we are opening.
"We have staff waiting to start and DJs ready to play. We have had meetings with the police and they know we are doing the best we can to make sure there are no problems."
The bar is situated above the Quatros restaurant on Blackburn Road, but has no links with the restaurant.
Around 1,500 people have signed a petition against the opening of the bar.
