NUTTY ambulanceman Alan Slater has the perfect answer to a hectic, difficult working day.
At the end of a busy shift Alan, of Manchester Road, Accrington, relaxes by watching the playful squirrels who live next to Accrington Ambulance Station at Broad Oak.
He said: "We are very well populated with them. I have been buying them peanuts and the squirrels are very well trained. If we leave the back doors open they come into the station. I call them my boys and they are really friendly."
