Arsonists are being blamed for destroying a car on a countryside lane.
They struck on waste ground off Nook Lane in Oswaldtwistle at 7.30pm on Thursday, August 7.
Crews from Hyndburn fire station were called to the scene and found the Mazda car completely destroyed.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at about 7.40pm to a fire involving a green Mazda 323 five-door saloon car and the fire brigade were already at the scene.”
