HYNDBURN'S bonniest baby and top toddler met up at the climax to the Observer's Baby of the Year competition.
Owen Hulme, winner of the baby section, and Amy Ellison, who came out tops in the toddler category, got together for the official presentation.
Owen lives in Westwood Street, Accrington, with his parents Paul Hulme and Laura Entwistle, while Amy is the daughter of Paul Ellison and Tracy Doran of Stanley Street, Accrington.
They were voted the top twosome by our readers from over 200 entries for the annual contest.
Each received a magnificent 20'' by 16'' framed wall portrait worth £250, donated by the competition's co-sponsors, the Garth Dawson Studio, and a £50 cheque.
Reg Whitham, owner of the studio, and Observer editor Mervyn Kay presented the prizes.
