A SECOND Hyndburn Honey has set pulses racing in a nationwide hunt for the hottest girls on the high street – and this time she’s a brunette.

Gorgeous Nicola Haighton, of Sparth Avenue, Clayton-le-Moors, has followed in the footsteps of blonde bombshell Toni Ainsworth, now known as the Face of Accrington Stanley, in wowing lads’ mag admirers in FHM’s High Street Honeys search.

The 20-year-old, who made her name in our ground-breaking contest last year, has been snapped up by London-based agency The Casting Suite and offers have started to pour in.

The Chubb Security administrator believes her chances of modelling fame and fortune have perked up after a boob job took her from a 32C to a 32E.

On Monday, Nicola featured topless in the Daily Sport’s Search for a Stunna competition and she has also landed a bit part on Richard and Judy’s new daytime TV show, to be screened next month.

She will socialise with celebrities in the programme’s Star Bar feature.

A saucy selection of photos of Nicola posing cheekily in a Blackburn Rovers shirt under the name "Nikki H from Accrington" saw her placed 28th in FHM’s High Street Honeys, gaining nearly 3,000 profile fans and 165 votes.

Nicola, whose boyfriend is supportive of her career move, has done a variety of lingerie and topless work since first appearing in the Hyndburn Honeys contest last February.

She said: "I’d like for all my hard work to pay off and get into glamour modelling.

"I did have some nasty comments after I did the Hynd-burn Honeys because I’ve got fake boobs but I’m glad I did it because it kick-started my modelling career.

"I’m really excited about doing Richard and Judy because I can take three friends with me and we get to meet the celebrities."

She admitted to being a bit coy at first but thanked her sister Leanne for encouraging her to pursue her dream.

Model girl Natalie takes beauty title

A STUNNING Accrington student has beaten 19 other girls to represent Bolton in a national modelling competition.

Eighteen-year-old Natalie Afsar, of Foxwood Chase, Accrington, beat off the competition in the final of the Bolton Model Girl competition at the Packhorse Hotel in Bolton and will now go on to represent the town in the grand final in Manchester in July.

The pretty Blackburn College student was entered in the competition after being spotted by the manager of a modelling agency while out with friends on a shopping trip to Bolton recently.

Dressed down in Ugg boots and jeans, the former Moorhead High School pupil was offered the chance to enter the competition. She was also offered a modelling and casting contract and free portfolio.

Natalie’s parents, Ann Fawcett and Ifty Afsar, are both thrilled and supportive of their daughter’s achievement, and Natalie’s friends were as delighted as she was.

Natalie said: "I was just in complete shock – unbelievably happy, but shocked. I’d never properly thought about modelling - I never thought it would go anywhere, so it’s pretty unbelievable really.

"I’d like to carry it on because it was an amazing day at the competition."
