- Geoff Alan Purcell, 37, of Grange Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to theft and failing to surrender into custody having been released on bail. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £180 criminal courts charge.
- Julie Ann Thompson, 48, of Bridge Street, Rishton, pleaded guilty to dishonestly failing notify Hyndburn Council of a change in circumstances affecting her entitlement to housing benefit and dishonestly failing notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in circumstances affecting her entitlement to income support. She was given a 12-month community order with a one-month curfew requirement, a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.
- James Andrew French, 27, of Claremont Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation and a £150 criminal courts charge.
- Jason Lee Barbour, 44, of Juniper Court, Huncoat, pleaded guilty to stealing bacon from Jack Fulton Foods. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation and a £150 criminal courts charge.
- Stefan Golec, 33, of Wordsworth Close, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to producing 402.6g of cannabis, dishonestly wasting or diverting £736.53 of electricity and possessing cannabis. He was given an 18-week jail term, suspended for 12 months with a supervision requirement and 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.
- Mary Theresa Breckell, 53, of Edgar Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from shops. She was given an 18-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months with a supervision requirement, a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement, a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, ordered to pay £634 compensation and a £180 criminal courts charge.
- Sarah Joyce Smith, 35, of Marsden Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to using a television without a licence. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge.
- Stuart Almond Beard, 30, of Oakhurst Avenue, Accrington, pleaded guilty to sending by means of a public electronic communications network a message which he knew to be false for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience and needless anxiety to another. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £85 costs.
- Lukasz Bartnik, 30, of Broadfield Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a police officer. He was given a six-week community order with curfew requirement and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.
- Catherine Elizabeth Howson, 31, of John Street, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to theft. She was given a 12-month community order with a nine-month drug rehabilitation requirement, a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £10, ordered to pay £481.34 compensation and a £180 criminal courts charge, and given a 12-month exclusion requirement not to enter Oswaldtwistle Mills.
- William Jon Dobson, 25, of Higher Heys, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to assault and failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. He was given a new 12-month community order with a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement, 60 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £300 costs.
