A MILL worker who emigrated to Australia has died suddenly aged 65 at her home in Adelaide.
Mrs Elizabeth (Betty) Cronshaw (nee Dawson) formerly lived in Water Street, Great Harwood, with her brother David and late brother and sister Stan and Doreen, until marrying Jack Cronshaw in 1960 when the couple made their home in Orchard Street.
The couple went on to emigrate to Australia where they made Adelaide their new home.
Mrs Cronshaw enjoyed cooking and looking after two grandchildren and her hobby was growing orchids.
She returned to Great Harwood on a number of occasions to visit family and friends and renew old acquaintances.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she leave her husband Jack, daughter Lorraine and son-in-law Mark, grandchildren Lucy and Sam, brother David, sister Chris and brother-in-law Roy.
Following a family service in Adelaide Mrs Cronshaw was cremated.
