A 12-year-old boy was struck by a car this morning as he crossed the road to catch a bus.
The incident happened shortly after 8am this morning on Manchester Road in Accrington when the boy was hit by a Citroen C2 car.
Police said the boy, who was conscious and breathing, suffered a suspected skull fracture and was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital to be assessed.
The road was closed after the accident and reopened just after 9am.
