Welcome again to our Time-trip column.
Each week we will publish a set of pictures taken by our photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.
The pictures appear first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.
This week our first picture shows an Accrington Town Hall Cadet Force mess dinner in 2004, at which second lieutenant Debra Cassidy (organiser) is welcoming the mayor and guests.
The other pictures show a 21st birthday party leaving the Hargreaves Arms in Accrington in a limousine, crowds at an Accrington v Gravesend game, and the Breakfast is Best event at Help the Aged, Accrignton, with Nicola Wright and Connie Callow tucking into breakfast biscuits.
They were all taken in the early 2000s.
