Firefighters found the Ford Focus well alight at 5.30am on Monday on Richmond Hill Street.

A car was torched in Accrington this morning.

Firefighters found the Ford Focus well alight at 5.30am on Monday, November 28 on Richmond Hill Street.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said it was delibeately destroyed and a file has been passed onto police.

One crew from Hyndburn Fire Station were at the scene for about 30 minutes.
