Albert Wilkinson, from the model railway society, said the show had a great turnout. He said: “We had a fantastic day, everybody gave excellent feedback and the displays attracted great crowds, it was a lovely atmosphere.
“We had a model called Bleach Green which was displayed outside of Northern Ireland for the first time, Black Mill made its last appearance at the show.
“The Helmshore model attracted a lot of attention and people were very interested in it and wanted to know a bit about the history of it.
“Some of the original team from Accrington came along to see it and they had no idea that their model had survived after they had sold it on, so it was a great day.”
