AN ACCRINGTON man alleged to have stormed on to the Eastenders TV set has gone on the run for a second time after being bailed by magistrates.

Despite failing to turn up for his first court appearance, Ray Taylor, of Cedar Street, Accrington, was given bail.

This week he again failed to appear before magistrates in St Alban's and a second warrant was issued for his arrest.

Ex-boxer Taylor is alleged to have gone on to the set of the BBC soap in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, and confronted actor Shane Richie, who plays Alfie Moon.

Taylor, 33, is said to have demanded acting lessons from the star as he recorded a scene with Jessie Wallace, who plays his on-screen wife Kat.

When Taylor initially failed to turn up to face charges of going equipped for burglary with a screwdriver and wire cutters, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Almost a fortnight later Taylor was arrested in Accrington town centre after he was spotted riding a bike in Whalley Road by two uniformed police officers.

He was transferred to St Alban's, where he was once again remanded on conditional bail, but he failed to turn up for his court appearance on Tuesday.
