Police are growing increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of a missing teen.
Maryam Mahmood, 15, was last seen at about 8.30am on Thursday, July 17 outside Norden High School on Stourton Street, Rishton where she was dropped off by a relative.
Maryam, of Darwen, suffers from asthma and is also believed to be fasting for Ramadan.
She is described as Asian, 5ft 3ins, slim, with long dark brown hair and wears glasses.
She was last seen wearing her school uniform consisting of a purple polo shirt, black trousers, black shoes, with a blue rucksack.
Sgt Jill Maltman of East Police, said: “We are getting increasingly concerned about Maryam as it’s now more than 24 hours since she was last seen and she could be anywhere in or out of Lancashire.
“I would like to reassure Maryam that she is not in trouble, her family are getting worried and just want her back home.
“If anyone has any information about Maryam including if they have seen her or they have any idea of where she may be, please get in contact.”
