A florist shop has won this year’s Best Dressed Christmas Window competition in Hyndburn.
Garlands Florist on Union Road in Oswaldtwistle claimed the prize in the competition organised by the Hyndburn Chamber of Trade for a second year.
They fought off strong competition from Gareth’s Flower Shop in Great Harwood, which came second and Benny Charlesworth in Great Harwood which came third.
The winners received their trophies and certificates from Hyndburn Mayor Munsif Dad and Chamber of Trade president Raymond Goldstone at a special ceremony at Accrington Town Hall.
Representatives from other ‘highly commended’ shops including Edmundson’s Sweet Shop, Garden Gate, Julie @ Barbara Kay’s, The Glory Hole and Sense also received certificates.
Coun Dad said: “There were some excellent displays this year.
“Everyone is a winner for taking part.
