A teenage girl was taken to hospital with minor burns after a hairspray can exploded.

The incident happened in the front garden of a house on Annie Street in Accrington and the 13-year-old was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment.

Firefighters from Accrington were called to the scene just after 9.30pm on Friday, September 14.
