A man was hit over the head with a bottle after disturbing burglars at his home.
Police said the victim, in his 30s, was in bed when he heard a noise in the hallway from three intruders at his home on Spring Street in Accrington.
A spokeman said: “He has been pushed by two offenders and a third has struck him over the head with a bottle.”
The unknown men then fled from the scene and made off with two air rifles.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and stitches to a cut on his head.
The incident happened at around 2.40am on Saturday, July 12.
