FIREFIGHTERS said the unseasonably good weather led to a number of grass and field fires at the weekend.
On Saturday, there was a grass fire on Plantation Street, Accrington, at 8.18pm.
They were also called to a grass fire on the M65 near Huncoat on Sunday at 6.30pm and a field fire at 9.15pm on Hopwood Street, Accrington.
