Two men wanted on prison recall could be hiding in Hyndburn. Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of Michael John Daniel Jackson and John William Hogg after they were released from prison but failed to adhere to the terms of their prison licences.
Jackson, 24, originally from Blackburn was sentenced in May 2008 to 18 months imprisonment for burglary at Preston Crown Court.
It is strongly believed that he is still in the Blackburn or Accrington area.
Hogg, 34, from Clayton Le Moors was originally sentenced to 32 months in prison for a burglary in March 2008.
It is thought he could still be in the Accrington or Blackburn area but has been known to travel to other parts of England, it is thought that he may recently have been in the Truro area of Cornwall.
Both men will now have to serve the remainder of their sentences.
Inspector John Clucas said, "I would ask the public to be vigilant and report any sightings to the police.
"We want these people bringing to justice and any details the public may have could be crucial.
"As a force we have a high success rate of returning people to prison and use all methods to catch these people and to return them to serve the remainder of their sentence."
