Ice cream van breakdown causes M65 delays near Rishton

The van broke down at around 2.15pm on Tuesday, March 11 near junction 6.

An ice cream van has broken down on the M65 near Rishton causing huge delays.

The Mercedes van broke down on the westbound carriageway near Junction 6 and was then collided into by a Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Police said the incident happened at around 2.15pm near Junction 6 and all the lanes are blocked.

The ambulance was on the scene to treat the drivers however it not yet know how serious the injuries are.
