Shoppers can now take advantage of 100 fantastic Christmas offers throughout the borough.
With only three weeks to go to Christmas our town centre traders are providing fantastic offers to get our shops buzzing over the festive period.
Since we launched our Shop Local Club one month ago hundreds of shoppers have taken advantage of offers from our independent shops. And this week we have an extra twenty five offers for our readers to enjoy, taking our grand total of offers to one hundred.
Club member Duncan Allton, owner of All Fruits in the Market Hall, said: "It's excellent that there are now 100 businesses involved with Shop Local and I would like to thank the Observer for putting its foot forward to encourage shoppers to spend in our town centres.
"We have had lots of people using their Shop Local Card and a lot of people who have come through the door for the first time are shocked at the high quality of goods they can get while not compromising on price. It’s a big thank you to everyone who is shopping local as everyone will benefit." Each week we will publicize details in the Observer to encourage shoppers to use our local shops.
Our Shop Local Card allows shoppers access to exclusive offers designed by our traders. There are also posters on our website for traders to display and download in their shop window to show that Shop Local offers are available in their shops.
Each week this page will champion the borough, celebrate the people who work here, tell their stories and cover news and events.
