A HEART-rending television programme highlighting Ryan's condition will be shown on Monday (4 October).
Channel 4 will screen The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off, the story of Jonny Kennedy who died of EB-related cancer one year ago.
There are three kinds of Epidermolysis Bullosa and, like Woodnook Primary School pupil Ryan, Jonny suffered from Dystrophic, where the slightest touch can cause severe pain, blistering and sores.
Viewing the programme, which is due to be aired at 8pm, will give readers an insight into what little Ryan's life is like and the emotional strain the disorder places on sufferers' families.
