A motorist had a lucky escape after she was in collision with a roundabout in Accrington town centre.
Ten firefighters were called to Eastgate roundabout near King Street to find a Land Rover precariously hanging over the wall with a 15ft drop below into a river.
Crews from Hyndburn used winches to get the car back on the road and the female driver was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The incident happened at around noon today (Monday).
