A BOUNCING baby boy has joined the team at Lords House Farm, Rishton.

The tiny llama, who has been christened Chico, was born last week and came as a huge shock to farm staff, who did not know that his mum was expecting.

His parents Phil and Lil came to the farm as a pair and, although Phil was neutered shortly after his arrival, Lil was already pregnant.

Shocked staff went to feed the llamas last Monday, found Lil in labour and called out a vet, who delivered the little bundle of joy.

Farm administrator Mary Walker said: "He is really cute. He has to wear a little red coat to keep him warm at the moment as it is a bit cold for him."
