Traffic chaos was caused after a lorry became wedged under a railway bridge in Oswaldtwistle.
The incident took place just before 10am on Tuesday, September 4 at railway bridge bridge on Blackburn Road.
Police and fire crews from Hyndburn Fire Station attended the incident.
Watch manager Gary Edwards said items from the lorry fell onto a car when the lorry was unable to clear the bridge.
He said: “The female motorist was taken to hospital for treatment for a minor injury and the driver of the lorry was also unharmed.”
Drivers and rail passengers faced disruption while the scene was cleared but roads and services returned to normal by midday.
