A RISHTON man has been charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder following the East Lancashire football derby last October.
Christopher Sutton, 22, of Meadow Gardens, Rishton is one of 29 people to be arrested after an incident of public disorder at the Station Public House in the Cherry Tree area of Blackburn.
Trouble flared hours after the Blackburn Rovers versus Burnley match at Ewood Park on Sunday 18 October.
Christopher Sutton, seven other men and one boy have all been bailed to appear at Blackburn Magistrates Court on Friday charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder.
A further Blackburn man will also appear alongside them charged with a public order offence.
The remaining 18 men and one 17-year-old boy are due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates Court tomorrow (Wednesday) also charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder.
One man also remains on police bail.
