An Accrington man has been charged with possessing dangerous dogs following an incident in Rishton.



A 19-year-old man sustained serious bite injuries to his arms, legs and buttocks when two out of control dogs pounced on him.



Daniel Boardman, 19, remains in Royal Preston Hospital undergoing treatment to the injuries sustained in the attack at around 9am on Monday, March 14.



Mark Rowland, 24, of Hill Street, Accrington was charged with two counts of Possessing Dangerous Dogs on Friday and has been bailed to appear at Hyndburn Magistrates court on April 27.
