A man came off his scooter after it was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Zafira in Church.
The incident happened yesterday at around 5pm on Blackburn Road close to the snooker hall and boundary with Accrington.
Police said the man suffered injuries to his leg and abdomen and was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for a check up.
Sgt Pete Schulpher, of Accrington Road Policing Unit, said: “The local male driving the scooter was taking a right turn and collided with the side of the car.”
The road closed for around 10 minutes while paramedics dealt with the man.
