A man has been taken to hospital with suspected head injuries after a two-car collision.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to Richmond Road in Accrington near the roundabout with Willows Lane at around 10.15am today.
The collision involved a black Vauxhall Astra and a black VW Passat.
Fire crews from Hyndburn had to cut free a man from the Astra and he was taken to hospital by paramedics with suspected head injuries.
Passengers in the Passat were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The road has now been cleared after the two cars were removed.
