A new pub and restaurant is set to open in July, creating 45 jobs.
‘The Brickworks’ is currently being built on Hyndburn Road in Accrington on the site of the former Arnold Clarke garage.
The development was given the go-ahead earlier this year by the council after plans were drawn up by Marston’s Inns and Taverns.
Pub bosses said the business will create 45 full and part-time jobs and cater for 180 diners.
Phil Holt, of Marston’s Inns and Taverns, said: “We’re extremely excited about the Brickworks and hope it will build a great reputation locally when it’s open.
“It will offer top quality, value for money pub food and an unrivalled selection of drinks, including cask ales from across the country.”
Planning documents sent to the council said there will be 62 parking spaces and four disabled bays. The Brickworks will also include a ‘Pizza Kitchen’ and Marston’s said they have now started recruiting for staff.
Roles currently advertised include a trainee general manager, assistant manager and second chef with more becoming available soon. Visit www.marstonscareers.co.uk
