THE mum of Britain’s Got Talent starlet Hollie Steel is helping other mums keep their kids happy during the summer holidays by penning a blog.
Nina Steel, from Huncoat, is sharing her experiences, tips and ideas to help mums get thorugh the big break.
She’ll be sharing her thoughts on life with Hollie, and the rest of the family including son Josh, 15, and dad Jason.
Over the last few months, Nina has had to juggle Hollie’s busy work schedule while making sure she still does things that other children her age are doing.
Nina, 37, said: "With kids’ expectations set high for a fun-filled summer, I think it’s important to be prepared.
"There’s nothing worse than a bored child and cross mum.
"I’m determined that Hollie will keep her feet firmly on the ground and want her to enjoy the summer holidays and importantly have fun, just like every other child."
Nina, who works as an NHS audiologist, will be blogging three, monthly installments.
Her first blog is on the web already and outlines the importance of having a routine.
The blogs will give advice on gearing up for the summer months’ activities to keep children entertained and tips on how to get your kids ready for the return to school.
Nina will also be sharing some inside information on what Hollie is getting up to post Britain’s Got Talent.
