The personal shopping service at Accrington Market Hall has now begun.
Around 24 businesses have so far signed up to the new Accrington Market Hall website allowing shoppers to order their goods and either collect them or have them delivered.
Personal shopper Kirsty Lauder is the main point of contact in the Market Hall and will oversee and collect all the orders placed through the site.
She said: “So far we have had a great response and all the businesses so far have had orders placed with them. One on the first day was for more than £100, which is great.
“They can choose when they want it picking up or delivering and things like fresh food we will leave as late as possible to collect so it is fresh when it arrives.
“We are trying to get more footfall back into the market and for people to see what is else is here that they might not know about.”
Kirsty said she is also talking to more traders in the market to get them signed up to the site and is working on plans for Christmas.
She said: “We have launched the website now so we can gear up to the festive period and we will be getting more Christmas-themed items on there soon.”
