Police have issued CCTV pictures of a man and woman they want to speak to after a shoplifting incident in Accrington town centre.

The incident happened at the Wilkinson’s store on Wednesday, July 29 between 2pm and 2.10pm when an electric toothbrush and electric cordless drill worth a total of £120 were stolen.

A Hyndburn Police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to apologise for the poor quality of the stills but would still like the members of the public’s help in attempting to identify the pair.”

Officers have also thanked members of the community for their help in recent CCTV appeals and said it is now a ‘valuable tool for the police’.
