Three people have been arrested following Class A drugs raids in Hyndburn.

More than 60 police officers were dispatched on the streets as four properties in Accrington, Great Harwood and Church were raided as part of Operation Titan.

A 39-year-old-man from Rishton was arrested on suspicion of burglary after three watches worth more than £4,000 were seized at Edmundson Street in Church.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and a 22-year-old man was arrested for obstructing officers who were executing a warrant at Lime Avenue in Great Harwood.

Sergeant Simon Holderness, of Accrington Police, said his team had been gathering evidence for week's leading up to Monday's raids.

He said: "We got together all our available resources for the four raids. Operation Titan is to demonstrate to the public that we are acting on information and are aiming for public safety. It's an operation to increase public confidence."
