Police are appealing for help after a number of power tools, suspected to have been stolen in recent allotment break-ins, were discovered in a garden shed in Rishton.
A shocked resident found power drills, a saw and garden strimmers that didn't belong to him so contacted police.
Officers investigating have now released pictures of the tools in hope that the rightful owners will come forward.
Sgt Stuart Banks said: "There have been a number of break-ins at allotments around the Rishton area and we believe that there is a possibility that some of these items may have come from those incidents.
"If anyone thinks that they recognise any of the items then I would as them to contact Accrington Police Station by calling 01254 353749.
People can also contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
