POLICE have named a man who was found dead at Accrington Railway Station as Andrew Bucyzynski.

Mr Bucyzynski was found slumped on a footpath at the station by a commuter during morning rush hour last Wednesday.

The scene was cordoned off while detectives investigated the death but British Transport Police confirmed that it was not being treated as suspicious.

A post mortem was to take place on Monday but the death has so far been recorded as “unexplained”.

Transport police have been dealing with the matter as the body was found on the station grounds.
