FRIENDS of the Riaz family have left moving tributes on the Accrington Observer website.

Since news of the tragic fire broke, schoolfriends of the dead girls and friends and colleagues of their mother Caneze, posted poignant messages of support.

Here are just some of them...

THIS is such a tragedy and not only a loss to me, but the community as well. Sayrah was such a lovely girl, always full of positive things to say and Caneze helped me through so much when I had problems. She was such a loving caring woman. RIP Riaz family. Also my condolences to Adam who I went to school with, he's always been so nice; no-one deserves this, least of all this family. xx

Rebecca Whalley, Accrington

I CAN'T believe that this has happened to such a nice family. I have known Sayrah since Year 7 and she has such a bubbly character. Who would do this to such a lovely family? RIP Riaz family. xx

Jo Foster, Accrington

EVEN though I didn't know the family that well I would really like to give my sympathy to the remaining family members especially Adam.

Marie, Oswaldtwistle

I LIVE a couple a streets away, and knew the family very well. I saw the sister Sophie two days before the blaze, I was shocked to hear about the Riaz family. It is very hard for me to believe that mother Caneze and her four daughters left the earth in such a tragic way. What a waste of five beautiful lives. Their mother Caneze and daughters Sayrah, Sophia , Alicia and Hannah were very nice and kind-hearted. Five innocent lives lost. Let's all pray to Allah that he will grant permission to the Riaz family in Jannat (heaven).

I CAN'T believe how much I am going to miss Sayrah, she was a credit to the school, and an amazing friend; she was always there for whoever needed help. She was really clever and was going to go far, she always had a smile on her face and that's how I am going to remember her. Sympathy to her family as well. Missing you already Sayrah xx

I WAS a very good friend of Sayrah Riaz and she was deputy head girl alongside me and I loved her to bits and she was so nice and whoever could possibly do that is so awful. Sympathy to her family. X X X X

CANEZE was a very outgoing and active woman who was well known in Hyndburn for her community work. I had worked with her and she will be deeply missed by everyone.

ADAM Riaz is my best friend. It is such a shame as he has had so much trouble over the past year, he's going through the stages of cancer and has now lost his mum and sisters - it's sickening. I feel so bad for Adam and my heart goes out to him!

Jack Ward, 16, Accrington.
