A teenager fought off a robber by punching him in the stomach. The 16-year-old was walking along Clement Street in Accrington when a man approached him and grabbed his arm.
Police said the youngster managed to shake off the offender before running off.
DS Scott Waddington, of Accrington CID, said the incident on Sunday, July 15 was concerning.
He added: "The man we are looking for in relation to this incident is white, in his late 20s, with an average to medium build, 6ft 2 in height and was wearing a hood up. He also had greasy brown hair, a stubble ad smelt of stale urine."
