Thieves yesterday broke into an Oswaldtwistle home and stole goods worth £1,900 before fleeing.

The incident occurred at a house on Albert Street between 6.45pm and 9.50pm on Thursday, March 3.

Police said the raiders broke in through a kitchen window and searched the downstairs of the property.

They stole a kids mini-cross motorbike worth £250, a £300 LG 42' plasma TV, a Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 console with games, two laptops and £80 in cash.
