Thieves have broken into a house in Oswaldtwistle stealing electrical items and jewellery worth over £1,600.

They struck at the house on Thwaites Road between 7.30pm and 10pm on Monday, April 25.

Two iPods worth a combined £300, a silver pandora bracelet and pandora sphere with mother of pear hearts worth £100 and a £1,200 Omega watch were stolen.

Sgt Simon Holderness, of Accrington Police Station, said: “The thieves have broken into the property by forcing the front door open and have stolen some jewellery and electrical items.

“There were mention of three juveniles wearing tracksuits sitting at the rear of the property around the time of the offence.

“We would like those people to come forward with any information they have and to be eliminated from our enquiries.”
