A power washer worth £2,000 was stolen from a Clayton-le-Moors car garage. Thieves raided the premises of Bartram Land Rovers on Victoria Street before loading the washer into their vehicle and fleeing.
The washer, used to clean engines and the underneath of Land Rovers and Range Rovers, was the only one on the company's premises.
Sgt Simon Holderness, of Accrington Police, said: "The offenders have forced entry by cutting the mesh fencing around the business. After forcing their way in they stole a large power washer worth £2,000."
The incident occurred between 6pm on March 3 and 8.45am on March 4.
In a separate incident, thieves raided a shed and stole bicycles and tools worth more than £400.
The offender climbed over a 7ft fence into the rear yard of a property on prospect Street before using a crowbar to access the shed.
They escaped with a pink and purple woman's mountain bike from Next worth £110, a pink and silver girl's mountain bike with stickers on it worth £180 and various tools worth £130.
