Three people have been arrested after police discovered heroin at two houses in Accrington.
Officers raided an address on Malt Street, Accrington at around 10am yesterday to find 20 wraps of heroin in an upstairs bedroom.
A 52-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possessing class a drugs.
This comes after police raided an address on Edmund Street, Accrington on Wednesday morning and found 20 wraps of a brown powder believed to be heroin.
A 46-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and was bailed pending further enquiries.
Community Beat Manager PC Chris Emmett said: "This demonstrates that the police will act swiftly on information from the local community. We urge the community to keep coming forward with information or concerns about drugs."
