COMMUTERS travelling into Accrington faced heavy tailbacks following an early-morning crash on the M65.

COMMUTERS travelling into Accrington faced heavy tailbacks following an early-morning crash on the M65.

A van crashed into the central reservation of the motorway between junctions six and seven shortly before 8am on Monday.

The driver of the van was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital after suffering minor injuries but is thought to be doing fine.
