TWINS Natasha and Alana Horne have started their New Year by entertaining the nation in their search for love.

The 19-year-old sisters from Clayton-le-Moors have joined 30 other young women on ITV’s new dating show Take Me Out, which airs its second show this Saturday.

The twins, who are studying a foundation acting degree at Accrington College, have already missed out on dates with four hopeful bachelors who failed to impress the girls with their party tricks and looks.

But Alana, who was seen accidentally ‘buzzing out’ fire-eater ‘Rob’ in last weekend’s episode, says she was more impressed with the show’s presenter, Paddy McGuinness, than the eager contestants.

She said: "I was quite disappointed. He (Rob) looked like a nice person and I was so excited about his fire-eating I accidentally pressed the buzzer.

"But I knew it was the first show so there would be more men to come."

The twins, who live in Rishton Road with their parents Brian and Julia, say they favour the ‘tall, dark and handsome’ kind of man.

But if they didn’t have to juggle their busy part time jobs at Checcos in Great Harwood, they say they’d love to go on a double date with X-Factor’s ‘Jedward’.

Natalie said: "A lot of the time we work at the weekends so we don’t get to go out that much, but we are lucky because we have always got each other.

"We’ve never fought over a boy, and we haven’t really found the man of our dreams yet, but we have had fun."

lTake Me Out is on ITV1 from 7.15pm on Saturday.
