Two men arrested after a scrapyard was raided during an investigation have been eliminated from police enquiries.
Around 100 officers from Lancashire Police and West Yorkshire Police executed warrants at Tom Smith Commercials Ltd, on Meadow Street in Great Harwood, and Alf Kyme Ltd, on Blackwood Street in Stacksteads, last month in connection with stolen vehicles.
However, two men arrested, from Bacup, have now been released from police bail and eliminated from the investigation.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A total of nine people have been arrested, questioned and released on police bail.
“Two of those, a 50-year-old man and 45-year-old man, have been released from police bail and will have no further action taken against them at this time.”
Police said the sites were originally identified as possible locations for stolen vehicles to be brought and broken up.
