A series of Heritage Textile Banners celebrating Accrington's history will be unveiled next week.
The work was undertaken by Mid Pennine Arts along members of the Project Pride Accrington team.
Textile artist Lisa Watson worked with young people from Hollins Technology College to create four large-scale banners that will hang in Accrington Market Hall.
The banners each represent a different part of Accrington including the Market Hall, the textile mills, the Accrington Pals and famous residents.
Lisa said: "We have all really enjoyed working on the project and we are really looking forward to the launch.
"The children I have been working with have been fantastic and really enthusiastic. We have really found out a lot of things about Accrington and what makes it special."
As part of the project the children visited local museums, libraries and archives to better understand Accrington's heritage.
The project received support from the Heritage Lottery Fund Young Roots programme and their work has been documented by local film company Huckleberry Films.
